Yoshi

It was his years in London developing his love for dancing in vintage club nites where legendary DJs played a variety of raw 40-50s music on vinyl to packed sweaty crowds. Yoshi aka “Prince of peace – coming from the east” loves spinning the music that gets the party going – from hot jump blues of Tiny Bradshaw, swingin jazz blues of T-bone walker, to sizzlin RnB of Ruth Brown, tearjerking mambo beats of Joe Lutcher, to name a few. “Yoshi time is the party time” – Be there or be square!

DJ Hamed

Hamed’s passion for Blues music and dance made him a full-time Blues DJ, teacher, and organizer in Vienna. He is the founder and one of the organizers of “Vienna Sugar Blues” and “Blues Fever Festival”.

Sarah Spoon

Sarah Spoon, of London, England, is a fan of music. Playing it, playing it some more, dancing to it, sharing it, talking about it, doing a podcast about it, thinking about it, pushing it onto others, and generally overdosing on it daily. Having found swing music completely by chance (although with hindsight it seems obvious really), they quickly connected with the dance community as well and they have been an integral member there ever since. Sarah values deeply addictive melodies, songs with strong grooves behind them, and has a healthy-to-troublesome appetite for the sound of the Swing era.

A Belgian Guy

Nick Baeten, a Belgian guy, straight out of Stockholm.

Nick aims to create settings that both the dancer and the listener can enjoy. He likes to play magical tunes or versions that didn’t make it to the Lindy top 50.

DJ Spreadsheet

DJ Spreadsheet is a Copenhagen based dancer, teacher, and DJ, whose first love is Lindy Hop – though one can find her dancing Bal, Shag, Blues, solo jazz, and folk dances. She seeks to play inspiring and danceable swing music from artists of diverse backgrounds, while honoring the roots of the genre.
